MY STYLE // White Shirt

Just a quick post today, apologies for the long gap between posts - have been revising/taking my maths GCSE and had exam week so unfortunately blogging had to become a second priority.

Anyways, this is an outfit I wore about a fortnight ago when it was super hot, to go stationary shopping, crazy. I have a really disproportionate figure (massive bum/legs plus small waist) which makes it very hard to find jeans or shorts that actually fit me, so when I found these gorgeous shorts in Topshop last year, I almost cried. They're ridiculously comfy and look good with just about anything. I also stole my mum's white shirt from Zara, which I love sososo much. (and may not give back to her) This outfit was perfect for a really hot day, and really relaxed and comfortable, but the white shirt makes it look a lot smarter than it feels. I just threw on my old school shoes to go with it, which have been used and abused over this past year, and a very bright red lipstick, to contrast the basic colour scheme.

Shirt - Zara (not in season)
Shorts - Topshop
Brogues - Office (not in season)
Lipstick - Topshop RioRio

Have a great weekend

Zara Trafaluc Striped Dress

As a break from the huge amounts of revision I've been doing, I went shopping with my mumma on Friday. This means spending a few precious hours away from the annoyingly small town I live in, and going to actual real, good shops that are unavailable anywhere near me.  Normally, I walk into Zara and stare in awe at the gorgeous clothes, never actually buying anything for lack of money or just liking so many things at once that I just don't get any of them. Their s/s 14 collection has been unbelievable, so my visit was not disappointing. My mum actually saw this dress first, and I have basically fallen deeply in love with it. (we plan to get married soon)

It's such a light material which is perfect for summer, and makes it one of the most comfortable things. Ever. I like how it's more 'slouchy' (if that's a word?!) than other dresses I own, and can be worn in so many different ways. With a leather jacket and boots or sandals and a cardigan... The list goes on. I had a look round the rest of the Trafaluc collection, and it's all brilliant, so well done to Zara for just being fabby all the time.
And for only £19.99, I would 100% recommend it to anyone um-ing or ah-ing about whether to buy it or not.

Dress - Zara Trafaluc
Chelsea Boots - Topshop
Sunglasses - River Island
Daisy Anorak - Topshop (last season so my specific one is unavailable)

Hope you've all had a great half term!
